The Power of ONE
ONE state, ONE system, ONE vision…
toward ONE community, ONE leadership team…
by, for, and with…
ONE whole child and ONE whole family.
Breaking Barriers believes that to better support California’s youth and their families—ensuring they receive the services and resources necessary to succeed—we must come together and work as a collective toward shared goals and outcomes. At this year’s Symposium, we explored the many pathways to ONE. By combining efforts from our fragmented systems, we build towards ONE child- and family-serving community. Join us on this journey as we offer both guidance and concrete next steps to achieve ONE.
ONE = One system. No Exceptions.
Be sure to read through CYBHI's Working Paper on California’s Children and Youth Behavioral Health Ecosystem, a blueprint for a better future. The Symposium highlighted the concrete examples and guidance for next steps from this paper.

Scholarships
Thank you to the Mental Health Services Oversight & Accountability Commission for their generous support so we could offer scholarships for youth, family, community members, and other stakeholders who would otherwise not have been able to attend the Symposium. The MHSOAC’s sponsorship ensured that everyone could be part of the pathway to ONE so that systems are not only built for youth and their families, but by and with them.
