About the Symposium
Since 2016, Breaking Barriers has hosted our Integrated Care Symposium as a forum to lift up and share the integration work across California. We highlight the on-the-ground work of county interagency collaboratives, statewide leadership, advocates, and stakeholders as they build the comprehensive, accessible, sustainable systems of care our children and their families need. We feature inspiring leaders, youth, and families, showcasing effective programs and strategies for uniting in care. Most importantly, we provide time for teams to do the work around planning and problem-solving at the local level.
Four Pillars of Integration
Over the years, Breaking Barriers has established our Four Pillars of Shared Leadership, Shared Goals, Shared Information, and Shared Finance as a means to a redesigned children's ecosystem of support and care.
